This is a very tidy Merlot from Penny's Hill. It's generous and lengthy with fine lines. Tick!
There is no denying the vast array of dark plums and berry fruit that adorn this wine. It is shapely and inviting with a comforting length. A fine spice tickle keeps the interest levels piqued but that delicate line of dark chocolate that threads its way throughout is what I'm here for. It's a great drink.
