Holm Oak Cabernet Franc 2024

Cool climate Cabernet Franc pulling the right moves from Holm Oak.

From vines planted in the mid 80s, this is a leafy and herby thing. Roasted peppers, caponata and sweet blackberries make a gravitating first impression. A wine with rounded shoulders, it's quite an approachable type. Medium-bodied, dried sage joins the chorus with a touch of mint driving through to a lengthy finish supported by fine tannins making this a great wingman for a variety of dishes. I'll take some beef skewers on the barbecue, thanks.
