From the granite-rich soils of Beaujolais comes this dancy and delightful wine that will be sure to please a legion of fans.
A riot of red petals and violets skips from the glass building an impressive aromatic profile. Peppered steak makes an early statement with strawberries, cherry pips, black tea, puffs of earth and dried herbs flow throughout. Whole bunch fermentation has added complexity through the palate with a minerally presence that speaks of the soils from which it was born. A fine sprinkle of pepper lingers on a lengthy and moreish finish with silty tannins having the last word. It's a very tidy and agile drink that would eat up a diverse range of dishes.
