Cool climate delish. I really enjoyed the offerings of this Tumburumba Shiraz from Kosciuszko. It's a great drink for 27 bucks.
White pepper diffuses freely from the glass highlighting its cool climate roots as a granite minerality weaves its way through adding a neat touch. Charcuterie and cured meats partner dark cherry and plummy fruit. It walks with a softness that grows on you. The longer it sits in the glass, the more I lean in. Blueberry compote builds the courage to wriggle forward late wrapped in a blanket of fine spices. Steak and potato bake is calling. A big tick from me.
