Plush fruit meets well-handled oak. A melange of dark cherries, blueberries and mulberries set the tone with dark chocolate and cured meats playing neat support roles. A savoury drive builds momentum courtesy of the 17% whole bunches used. A touch of char swoops late with some milk chocolate-like feels but it is hard to escape the silkiness that rolls through effortlessly. Absolutely delicious, the iconic dining scene from When Harry Met Sally says it all: yes, yes and YES!
