Four years young with some bottle ageing already done for you, it sees time in seasoned French oak. The acidity of the variety is still prominent, but there is a distinct phenolic grip from time on lees, which ups its appeal. Pears, cut green apple, pineapple and papaya build attractive notes ably supported by pineapple sage and fine ribbons of cream. Ginger spices ripple through a moreish finish before a lemony zip cuts in late. A great drink. Go here.
