Pikes Luccio Fiano 2026

This Fiano from Pikes bursts out of the blocks and never really lets up. Winning!

Freshly squeezed lemons and lemon basil leap from the glass with plenty of energy, immediately setting a vibrant tone. The palate follows through with lashings of lemon juice and fresh-pressed green apple, delivered with excellent varietal definition and purpose. What elevates it is the texture. There's a delightful creamy drive that rolls through the palate, adding shape and presence without dulling its freshness. It feels complete and confidently put together, with plenty to like from start to finish. The acidity leans towards underripe green apple territory, bringing a tart edge that occasionally pokes through. Still, it's hard to fault the varietal shape on display here. Structured, expressive and full of character, this is a Fiano that knows exactly what it wants to be. Smart buying for the asking price.
