Jim Barry Watervale Riesling 2015

A recent night out for Thai called for something to douse the fire. I dashed around the corner to the bottle shop and was met with a limited number of Riesling options in the fridge yet a whole door was filled with Sauv Blanc. Sigh.

This was the pick of the Riesling on offer, and damn, what a steal for $16 in retail land!

Kaffir lime city. A cracking Riesling with expressive citrus fruit and bone dry to finish. Bright and refreshing all the way.

As for my Gang Dang duck curry, the job was done and then some.

Very good.
