Granaxia is an Italian synonym for Grenache - well there you go. A drop of Sangiovese has been tossed in here too for good measure.
Copper appearance in the glass, pretty aromas of white peach, mandarin peel and dried strawberry. White peach takes the reins here and rides it all the way but fades out through the middle - not too dissimilar to a Melbourne Cup pace maker. Red apple peel appears at the death. Bone dry, a whip crack of acid on exit.
I liked the aromas more than to taste. A good little wine no less.
Drink now.
