Wonderfully balanced, yellow fleshed peaches, freshly cut apricot, ginger and biscuity nuances paint a delectable scene. Cashews and sourdough play secondary roles with cinnamon, lemon merigue and preserved lemon adding sophistication. The suggestion of lanolin comes later but the creamy drive from time in oak keeps a neat tempo. Those cinnamon spices have the last word and wrap themselves around a long and moreish finish. Great stuff as ever.
