It's a wine that showed its best with some time in the glass after the acid found its groove. Give it that chance and you'll be grinning from ear to ear.
Rich dark and black berries sit at the core. Think Satsuma plums and baked blackberries ably supported by char, barbecued steak and dark chocolate. Fine ripples of black pepper and five spice add further delight. It's a meaty type and gives off these low n slow brisket vibes which I'm all for. Great stuff.
