A new project by the clever and very humorous Greg Clack, this Aptitude Chardonnay will make you sit up and take notice.
From the Kenton Valley that sits 490 metres above in the Adelaide Hills comes this cracking entry.
Lemons and barbecued nectarines work in unison, flanked by bright a lemon and yellow grapefruit acidity that brings the mouth to water. Cashews and almond praline tuck in behind flint, vanilla, pineapple husk and a subtle Jersey caramel that pin themselves to the core delivering a considered touch and clever winemaking. The texture, presence and length build allure with a lick of lemon juice the parting gift. Smart stuff.
