Raw boned, the basic varietal traits are apparent, but this isn't a wine for critical judgment. It's the type to slosh in the glass and share over a causal barbecue in the park with mates. There's enough depth to keep you entertained and a longer than expected finish leaving a dusting of earth and fine spices. It goes okay.
Drink now to three years.
