This Shiraz captures the richness and generosity of the Barossa sub-region Ebenezer perfectly.
A wine that showed itself better with time, there is so much to grasp at, you get a sense you can't catch it all. Cloves, cedar, Chinese Five Spice and licorice dive deep into the savoury sphere and peel off at ease. Dark berry fruit and that berry pie juiciness is moreish and runs oceans deep with a ribbon of cedar the common thread. Whispers of vanilla and milk chocolate tuck in behind. Fine tannins show some tension but have enough give to coax you back for more. Quite a seductive wine and then some. Wicked.
