For $23, this is insane value. What a cracker!
I picked this up at an independent store recently. Needing a Chardonnay fix and not having had a Hoddles Creek wine for what seems an eternity, the planets aligned.
This is such a layered and beautiful wine for little outlay. Flint, shades of caramel and mealy tones early. White fleshed nectarines, drips of lemon juice plus some juicy factor yet there's a measured concentration. Delicate creaminess draws a longbow and hangs beautifully. Damn, this is all a bit fabulous.
