There is a lot to like about the shape and flow of this wine. Montepulciano from the Hunter Valley, it is infused with organic Australian Ginseng as an alternative preservative - a unique approach. This is a wine worth checking out.
A juicy appearance early, scents of char and fine black pepper seep from the glass. In the mouth it is highlighted by sour red plums and licorice. There is a respectable depth without strangling the pleasure factor. A fine spice tease tickles a long finish. All I can think of is a steak on the coals. Nicely done.
