Gee, I enjoyed this. Yarra Valley Cabernet in all its glory. It needed some time to reveal its true self, but when it hit the dance floor, damn, it's got the moves.
Graceful and charismatic describe this Cabernet best. Plush, it is loaded with blackcurrants. Some meaty and char characters appear early, too, but move on. Classy black fruits and berries consume your attention. Incredibly soft, it motions at a leisurely pace that absorbs you and takes you along for the ride. A delicate mintiness sits in the background moving to fine tannins that have an emery board feel. Put it away for a couple of years and it will be in the groove.
