A kick arse label for a kick arse wine. It's so playful and energetic. Who would have ever used those words to describe Cabernet Franc? Kate Goodman and Lauren Hansen keep dishing up the goods at Penley Estate and it's best you get on board too.
Purple and blue fruit plus super fine spices are the key players in this tremendously delicious wine made to leap into now. Much like the Giliam Light Dry Red, the shelf presence of this label is most impressive. I love the artwork.
Gorgeous scents of violets reach out early. A shimmer of roasted peppers sits in the background, but the juiciness of this red is what steals the show. Buckets of blueberries and mulberries fill the mouth with absolute ease demanding you put a smile on your face - not a difficult request mind you. I'd be inclined not to share this one, and there's nothing wrong with that...
