Plenty of savoury goodness inviting you in for another whiff. Tomato leaf at the fore. Cassis and black currant fruit hold the fort. There's a suggestion of some raisins, dark plums and mulberries moving to dark chocolate. It's cut and sleek. Tobacco and fine tannins close it out. Acid still seems keen to kick on as the rest are turning the lights out. Despite the five years age already under its belt, there's at least another ten to give. I do lean towards the vineyard Cabernet blend out of the two - oh to be choosy.
