The wines I've seen of late from Beechworth's Indigo Vineyard have been impressive with quality across the board. Medium bodied Shiraz getting the thumbs up this time.
Scents of black tea, black earth and dark plums get the juices flowing. Steady and consistent through the mouth, a touch of char walks beside savoury herbs. Peppery spice chugs along with a brightish acid cracking the whip. Another couple of years and this will settle but it's a good drink nonetheless.
Drink to 2025.
