A wine akin to a wave rolling effortlessly across the beach though it doesn't seem to recede, but I'm certainly not complaining that is doesn't. Lush, generous, precise.
Elegance personified here with expected dark fruit and berries, coffee and caramel oak, aniseed and some cedar. This is a dense yet delicate wine. Complex yet reserved. Those generous dark berries purr through early before savoury characters appear leading to a silky smooth finish. A compelling Barossa Shiraz.
Drinking well now but there are decades ahead of it if you desire.
