Whilst many varieties have had plenty of success on the Granite Belt, Pinot Noir has never really hit the mark.
This sits more in the realm of a light bodied Shiraz than a traditional Pinot.
Marinated beef, smoke, and clove aromas. Dark berries and a dusting of black pepper spice drive the flavour profile. Acid is firm and tacky. That finesse you'd expect from the variety just isn't quite there. Minute steak and burgers would be perfect partners.
