A 51/49 blend of Sangiovese and Grenache, this nails the brief for a modern Rosé with its attractive salmon appearance. But there’s more going on beneath the surface than first meets the eye.
The palate brings the white flesh of strawberry and watermelon husk, white cherries and mandarin peel, with a vibrant red apple crunch. It’s drying and puckering, finishing with a savoury grip that makes you immediately reach for something to eat.
This isn’t a Rosé designed simply to sip poolside. It needs food and will happily take on salads, seafood, casual barbecues and charcuterie.
Fresh, crunchy and deliciously food-driven, bring on spring.
