Planted in 2011, 50% of the fruit comes from the Chalmers vineyard. Tellurian plan to produce 100% of the fruit in years to come.
Perfumed purple flowers, black tea leaves and dried African spices send the aromas into a spin. Soft red fruit is complemented by an acid crunch - all natrual acid too, no additions. Medium bodied, the acid frames the palate like a guard rail.
I'd happily indulge in a couple of glasses. A Nero worth hunting down.
Drink now to five years.
