Fermented and aged in 100% Amphora - not many Australian Chardonnays can boast that point of difference.
An interesting wine with aromas of preserved lemon, marigold flowers and margarine. Layered and complex, there's much going on. Painted on thick through the mouth, there's a creamy presence and what could nearly resemble Jersey caramel, but not quite. A spice tingle and lemony acidity to finish - there's plenty to think about here.
I'd happily have a couple of glasses with a roast chook.
Drink now to five years.
