Looking heavy in the glass, there's some weight in the mouth too. Pine needles, dried herbs, dark plum and dark cherry fruit sit at the core of this wine. Quite a robust type with pan juices simmering away. Sour cherries creep up on closing to be rounded out by a fine spicy finish which gets comfortable and seems never ending.
Drink now to six years.
