Canned apple, yellow flowers and poached pears are the main players. There's some cinnamon like spice on close and an acidity that starts to bring the mouth to water. Above all, it comes across without the freshness you'd expect from the variety. I'd liken it to an oxidised apple in some respects - just not that appealing. Not my style.
