James Scarcebrook is kicking out some pretty smart wines. His nomination in the Young Gun Top 50 is well deserved too. His Vino Intrepido label is one well worth sticking in your black book. Pinot Grigio lovers will enjoy this.
Nashi pears, almonds and a dash of lemon juice all shouldering one another to get to you first. Gentle textural interest shows detail and well-handled fruit. Quince and a fine line of apple juice add to the intrigue and joy this wine delivers. A fabulous food wine, nibbles in the afternoon sun the perfect setting.
Drink to three years.
