Lounge bar beats, small plates of charcuterie and a glass of this set the scene for chillaxing quite well I feel.
Of the eight Pinots recently tasted, this was the lightest of the line up. Admittedly, it comes across more like a Yarra Valley Pinot than one from Central Otago. An easy slurp, soft red fruits and berries take the reins here. Smokey scents early lead to firmish fruit. There is an easy-going nature to the wine before it tenses up late. Soft spices close proceedings with drying, powdery tannins. Hey DJ, spin those lounge beats.
Drink to five years.
