This is how Sauvignon Blanc should be done. Fresh, dripping with interest and a considered textural appeal, it's an excellent wine.
On full lees for eight months, the texture and precision here are impressive. Guava, passionfruit, lemongrass and lemon juice make a fabulous impression early. Some tension comes late showing preserved lemon and lemon zest. With enough complexity to keep you intrigued, a blanket of creamy delish is draped across the palate. Equal doses of focus and joyous fresh fruit muse leaving a tonic-like presence to consider. This is classy stuff and again showing itself to be one of the best Sauvignon Blancs in Australia. Woot woot!
