The first Grenache Blanc to grace the Schwarz META label, and what a great debut! It's so new it is yet to land on the website but stay tuned, it's worth lining up for.
Spending 9 hours on skins to develop a little texture, it has a soft, alluring presence. Poached pears, quince and a little white peach flesh, it coats the mouth with ease. If you enjoy Pinot Gris or lighter framed Viognier, you'll be more than comfortable with this in the glass. A super fine dusting of white pepper slowly unfurls on a long and persistent finish leaving a chalky texture to muse over. Long lunches, chicken or seafood, this is very well done.
