This is a great Fiano from Even Keel. There is a delicate minerally pulse that has me hooked. Right in the groove, there is interest aplenty.
The fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed and wild yeast fermented in older French oak barrels.
Dive in to seaspray, poached pears, quince and white fleshed stonefruit. A salty edge pins itself to fine ginger and cinnamon spices. Mediterranean tonic textural feels add some tension with a flirtatious lemon juice twist at the death elevating things once again. It is a very smart drink.
Drink to three years.
