The Barossa is known for a lot of things, but Chardonnay is not one of them. From Rowland Flat in the southern part of the district, this release from Lou Miranda is flabby and off the pace.
Scents of melted butter, honey puffs, lemon myrtle move to yellow peaches with a peach skin texture. It's a bit ho-hum as it meanders about without any great energy. Cinnamon spices chime in on close. The price point is highly competitive, and personally, I'd take my money elsewhere in search of quality.
