I found this Chapel Hill MV Bush Vine Grenache to be on the leaner side of the ledger but with a neat red apple crunch to boot it home.
Raspberry rope and pomegranate mingle with a basket of red berries and red apples. Despite its 14% alcohol, it comes across a touch underripe due to its skinny depth. Brown spices tip toe about with that bright and crunchy acidity whipping up the tail and framing the palate. It goes okay and will take a slight chill on warm days.
Drink to five years.
