Handpicked, whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented in French oak - 40% of which was new.
Pasted on, it feels dense. Nougat, melted butter, yellow fleshed peach. There's good width. A touch of margarine makes an appearance on close. The longer I look at it the more I pick up a green stemminess. The fruit drives through well no less. Tangy acidity wraps it up. A Chardonnay which would partner food well.
Drink now to six years.
