Lots to ponder here - hand picked, 91% whole bunch, wild yeast fermentation, unfined, unfiltered...
I just want to get knee deep in this. Hardcore Barossa Pinot (a local reference to Barossa Grenache).
If you don't like whole bunches - walk away. If you embrace the funk, step right up!
Red and forest berries spill from the glass upon pouring. I'm hooked already.
Some meatiness rolls out the welcome mat. Smoky tones throughout from gate to post. Although medium bodied, the mouth is filled with density. There's a roasted nuttiness layered on top of the plummy and red fruits with a fine veil of spice the parting gesture.
I could drink this all night and all the next day, no sweat. Delicious and then some!
Drink now to six years.
