Coonawarra Shiraz sticking it to the region's big boss man Cabernet. What a super wine this is. Beautifully balanced.
Off 85 year old vines and wild fermented.
Aromas of black berry, dark red fruits, wood spices, a hint of clove and licorice. It's hard not to be seduced by the dark plum and Christmas cake type characters - rich and generous. Medium bodied, dark chocolate to close with firm cocoa tannins and fine spices. Big love for this.
Drinking well now but hold off another year. Cellar for a decade+
