Something here for Pinot Gris fans to gush over - a beautiful wine. All the things you'd expect from a quality Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris are here - cut and poached pear, a cheeky scent of musk, quince. There's a wonderful feel and presence about it. A squeeze of lemon and a evenly paced sliver of almond moves through. The alcohol is up there (14%) but that is a result of very ripe fruit fermented to dryness. Superfine ginger spices send a tickle on a long and impressive finish. More please!
