It opens with sooty and char aromas. To taste and it's a little meaty. Dense plums and black fruit drive through with cloves and soft pepper coming along for the ride. Time in the glass brings black earth. Oak shows its hand too, perhaps a little too much. With a drying finish, a roast beef will do just fine.
