There is so much appeal about this wine. It's no superstar, but its honesty is the clincher. It's rock solid dripping with reliability. Boiled mulberries, red plums and a suggestion of chocolate hook you in. It's earthy with touches of char. Some texture skips around before a smattering of fine black pepper and dusty tannins to finish. It's worth a look for a sure.
