An attractively scented Rosé from a little South Burnett producer, Hillsdale Estate.
Scents of strawberry and cranberry light things up. Strawberries burst through the mouth - it's quite pleasant really. But the dancing stops when the Chambourcin enters the room. Made from a blend of Vermentino and Chambourcin, in isolation, the impact of the latter is clear but perhaps drinking it with food would mask it somewhat. Chambourcin brings a dusty, damp brown paper bag feel. I'm not sold.
