The sands of time have been kind to this terrific Mesh Riesling that has been released with eight years of age under its belt. Lovers of aged Riesling will be grinning like a Cheshire cat.
Golden in the glass, marmalade and toast are the heroes gleefully dragging you along for the ride. Add some rosemary sprig aromas to the concentrated preserved lemon and lemon juice and you have a very tidy wine. Not to be outdone, a fine line of honey moves in with some dried herbs and grapefruit. Add some pie apple and a defined minerally drive and you have a very impressive aged Riesling to embrace. Drinking exceptionally well now, this will continue to kick on for over a decade. Bravo!
