A blend of two vineyards (McLeod Rocky and Kidman Block 5), it sees French oak for 12 months (40% new).
Peppered steak, char, licorice, blackberries and dense plums set the scene. It takes a little time to settle, but when it does, it's a fabulous drink. Ripples of dark chocolate flow with ease but there is no escaping that dark fruit core that keeps the tempo. Soft spices cling to a persistent finish urging you back for more. Great stuff!
