Barbecued peach, apricot nectar, yellow fleshed peach, Portuguese tart, creamy pastry and lemon cordial, there is plenty here to grab onto. A citrusy tang and firm acidity have the last word. It's a Chardonnay that needs some food beside it to massage its soul, think a roast chook, risotto or a creamy pasta dish.
