Previously made from Grenache, this Wykari of Clare Rosé is now made from 100% Shiraz. An aromatic delight, pretty scents explode from the glass.
Onion skin in appearance, passionfruit, Frosty Fruits, red currants, watermelon juice, juicy peaches and strawberries and cream make quite the opening statement.
The flavour profile possesses a cool swagger with red berries, apricot kernel, crunchy red apple and a lemony zip. The acid tension ensures this needs food by its side - nothing a bag of chips or a cheese board can't fix.
