Fresh, zesty and vibey, this Yangarra Estate Circle Piquepoul is a delightful white wine to soak up the sun at the beach or a picnic in the park.
It was whole bunch pressed and matured on lees in a mixture of stainless steel and amphorae for five months before bottling.
Green apples, cut pear, lemon juice and lemon zest reach for your attention early. There is a distinct saltiness and with that comes some sea spray to really up the beachside feels. A fine rub of texture leaves a powdery feel as a delicate spice attaches itself on close. The acid is bright and will cut through fish and chips with ease but it will also shine alongside some fresh prawns just as well. It's a great drink.
