Here is some cool night comfort courtesy of Coonawarra's Brand & Sons. This Fire & Ice Shiraz is generous and throws out a long and persistent trail to cling onto.
Wines from this producer are proven to age well and I suspect this Shiraz will be no different. Awash with Cherry Ripe, blackberry jubes, bark and dry earth with a little tobacco thing going on. Waves of five spice and baking spices ripple through the mouth as dark chocolate and coffee grounds slowly reveal themselves. That sustained finish leaves plenty to embrace and ponder. Nicely done.
