A beautiful drink, I could soak up these late afternoons very easily with a glass or two. This Briar Ridge Limited Release Fiano hits the spot.
Scents of lemons and lemon curd with a delightful sea spray scent kick things off. A touch of honey pins itself to a creamy drive courtesy of some time in French oak (25% new) and time on lees. White pepper, a sprinkling of cinnamon and a wave of pears and white fleshed stonefruit add to the pleasure. Long with a neat textural presence, this is a great drink.
