Powell & Son Eden Valley Riesling 2017

Here's a Riesling in a superb spot. Great drinking full stop. Friends brought this over to share at a barbecue and we saw the bottom of the bottle in no time.


Well shaped acidity the clincher here. It's minerally, tight and chalky with shades of green apple,  a touch of apple sours plus devilishly dangerous lemony goodness. I keep coming back to the quartz and riverstone feels. Riesling lovers rejoice!
