Chardonnay blended from fruit grown on the home block and the Turramurra vineyard in Tuerong.
Scents of apple sours and scrumpy plus some florals for good measure. In the mouth, it feels weighty and obese if you like - bigger than what it should be. That weight dampens the mood though the acid and fruit mesh together a little better than the Turramurra. Lemon zest runs a neat course to a full and rounded finish with dashes of gingerbread spice tiptoeing through.
Drink now to six years.
